Hiking - If you are planning to hike in Franconia Notch this week please plan accordingly. Remember to always hike within your limits and don't hesitate to turn around. Stay with your hiking group and pack a map, head lamp, extra clothing, rain gear, snacks and plenty of water. Proper hiking footwear is a must! If you are planning to hike at elevations, i.e. Franconia Ridge or Kinsman Ridge, be sure check the Mountain Washington Higher Summits Forecast.
